Synopsis: An old circus woman befriends a girl and together they discover a magical landscape. This 16mm film was hand painted to create the dreamland through which these characters travel. WIDE BERTH was Ry Russo-Young’s first film made in 1999 in collaboration with Lola Schnabel.
