YOU WONT MISS ME played Marfa Film Festival this past weekend and got a nice right up on this website Chic Today

I recently went to Oberlin College and taught a video class and screened YOU WONT MISS ME. It was really fun to talk with the students about inspiration, the process of making low budget films and the multiple ways of getting films out to audiences. I showed them a bunch of work on the www I had been looking at (some filmmakers I recently met and have rapidly become a big fan of). Most recently Cory McAbee who I met at Sarasota Film Festival.

On a side note, the New York Times this past sunday mentioned three of my favorite movies all on one page! It was in the “What made summer movies memorable” section (wow, I’m ready for summer - it’s raining all week in New York) The movies are LAST SUMMER (1969 beach romance movie). Also, probably one of my favorite Woody Allen films STARDUST MEMORIES. The opening (which I link to here) is a really great homage of sorts to Ingmar Bergman’s films. The last film is HEARTBURN oh wow.
